About Us

Owner Joe Palumbo started Palumbo Landscaping & Services, Inc. (DBA Ice Dam Removal Guys) in 1995 and incorporated his business in 1996. Joe and his crew have been proudly serving central Minnesota now for more than 15 years. After graduating from Forest Lake High school Joe joined the United States Navy on a two year SAM program. Upon arriving back to his home in Lino Lakes, MN he spent a few years working for a local landscape company before deciding in 1995 to start his own landscaping business and make the Twin Cities area his permanent home. It wasn't long after that in 1996 that he expanded his business to include residential and commercial snow and ice removal. It began as general parking lot and driveway plowing and quickly evolved into a full-service ice dam removal company. From complete landscape design and installation in the summer months to roof snow and ice dam removal in the winter months, Palumbo Landscaping & Services, Inc. can meet your every need.

A Note from the Owner, Joe Palumbo:

I've given 15 years of my life to this company and I'm thankful for each and every day I am allowed to continue doing so. I have a passion for Minnesota winters and enjoy being a part of everything Mother Nature has to throw at us. When it comes to problems caused by ice dams, I find joy in being a part of the solution. I like to be that one go-to guy that can answer all your questions and solve most every problem. Ice dam removal is serious business that requires a serious contractor!
